After reading more than 70 essays and reviewing the great photos sent in, we are proud to announce that Monte is our grand prize winner.  Monte was a Hurricane Katrina victim who was lucky enough to find a place with BAD RAP.  Foster parents Karen and Marie soon realized they couldn't let him go and adopted him officially after no one from New Orleans claimed him.  Monte is not only a Certified Canine Good Citizen and a working therapy dog, but he also just passed the challenging ATTS test and participtes in a children's reading program at local libraries.  Congrats on all your achievements Monte and keep up the good work! If you'd like to meet Monte, he'll be at the Pet Fair on Saturday September 8th, first at the Fetch Booth and then with the BAD RAP crew.
