Luna is a 2 year old Flat-Coated Retriever. We live near the water in Alameda and Luna LOVES to play chasing ducks, birds, sticks -- whatever. This is her at her happiest. The only things that makes her this happy are little kids, chasing rabbits, and eating bones. She has the joie de vivre -- dog style!

Scout is a 3 year old female boxer who loves to go to the dog park and be outdoors! She can run for hours and this was her first trip to the ocean. She loves all of her toys and playing soccer with her tennis ball. She is very loyal, and although she loves to run with other dogs, she always runs back to check in. She's a lover not a fighter.

Little dog, BIG NAME. Little dog, BIG, HUGE personality. Who said Parson Russells were small? Tinkerton was found wandering the western hills of Ukiah, and taken to the Mendocino Animal Care Services Shelter. A volunteer there saw him and fell in love, took him home to foster, and could not let him go. He was adopted, got his Canine Good Citizen award, took agility and obedience classes, and now is adept at chasing tennis balls and hunting moles in the backyard. He's EVERYTHING a Russell should be!

The Morning After. . .
yes, most of us have been there. The wake of shame after a long, can't hardly remember, night. Lucky seems to be contently snoozing in (typical), but Skipper still can't believe she slept with him. What was I thinking?Photo by Angie Bonnert
